Un documentaire consacré au tailleur Mario Tellaro. Je m'appelle Paul Zinno. Je suis cinéaste, producteur et acteur, originaire de Montréal. Je vous écris pour vous faire part d'un projet de film qui me tient particulièrement à cœur. « Telaro » est mon premier court métrage documentaire, produit avec le soutien de l'Office national du film du Canada. Il raconte l'histoire de Mario Telaro, un tailleur italo-canadien de 91 ans qui revient sur une vie façonnée par son métier. C'est un film sur la passion, l'immigration et les souvenirs d'un parcours de vie. Projection le 31 mai à 17h00 à la Casa Italia, 505 rue Jean-Talon Est, premier étage. Entrée Libre

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Paul Zinno. I am a filmmaker, producer, and actor from Montreal.
I am writing you to share a film project I care deeply about.
“Telaro” is my debut short documentary, produced with the support of the National
Film Board of Canada, which tells the story of Mario Telaro, a 91-year-old ItalianCanadian tailor who reflects on a life shaped by his craft.
It is a film about passion, immigration, and the memories of a life’s journey that
began in Italy and stretches across an ocean to Canada.
The film is a tribute to the Italian immigrants who arrived in Canada in the 1950s
and to the contribution they made to our community.
I would be honoured to invite you to a private screening at Casa d’Italia, 505 Jean
talon Est (1sr floor), on May 31st at 5:30 PM, in celebration of its 90th
anniversary as a cornerstone of the Italian community.
